Proactive interview: ACG Metals says ‘business as usual’ at Gediktepe, on time and on budget, despite macro volatility

ACG Metals is pressing ahead with its Sulphide Expansion at the Gediktepe project in Western Turkey, with leadership confirming the development remains on time and on budget for production in the middle of 2026.

Chairman and CEO Artem Volynets reassured investors that current geopolitical tensions have had zero impact on operations, stating it’s “business as usual” at the site thanks in part to Gediktepe’s location in Western Turkey, well removed from the border of conflict.

Construction Milestone Reached

Vice President of Projects Graeme Rapley confirmed that the final major piece of mill equipment has arrived on site and is now seated on its foundations. Construction crews are actively progressing with:

  • Structural steel installation
  • Flotation cell assembly
  • Thickener infrastructure
